Lead Vocalist of Eraserheads Ely Buendia is now nursing at the Philippine Heart Center. Ely still needs to stay in the hospital for 2 weeks for Cardiac Rehabilitation. He is now in good condition after having an Angioplasty surgery again.
Last year of January reportedly after Ely suffered from heart attacked the doctors found blockages in his arteries and He went through an Angioplasty procedure (a surgical operation where blocked arteries are widened).
Emotional stress after his mother died of cardiac arrest days before their concert. Physical stress (over fatigue) due to vigil in his mother’s funeral wake and concert practices. Reportedly, The Band still practicing until 3 in the morning before the concert starts at night. These are the factors that the Pinoy Band Icon collapsed during their one night reunion concert held last Aug.30 at the Fort Bonifacio, Taguig.
Ely is said to be resting for his speedy recovery. Good for him that he can now communicate and receives visitors.
Lots of fans are expecting Ely Buendia to regain his strength to perform again even the part 2 of Eraserheads reunion concert only.
