Survivor Philippines will start to air this Monday, Sept. 15 hosted by Paolo Bediones under GMA Network.
Reportedly, Paolo and the production staff experienced difficulties and lots of sacrifices even the 18 castaways when they where in Koh Tarutao Island, Thailand in 39 days.
There’s no way to compare there experiences in the island that sometime before became a Thailanders criminal cage that is said to be a “Devil’s Island” where they are force to overcome different elements both in land and sea like scorpions, snakes, iguanas, spiders and pig forest.
Aside from the 18 castaways that trying to look for their food to eat and shelter to live, Paolo and the production team use to eat in three small meals a day. They use to travel with dump track without a roof, imagine how they received the intensity of the heat of the sun plus rains. The Survivor Philippines team use to walk in long distance carrying with their tents and audio mixer for example. Plus insect bites.
That’s why they are so thankful inspite of the circumstances and difficulties during the taping no one got into serious accident or sickness. Maybe because there are blessed because of having a Bible study every Sunday, they use to have it for their bonding and it brought them closer and became more open to each another.
Out of 43,000 auditionees, 18 of them passed. And, majority of the 18 castaways compose of simple and ordinary people, that’s why televiewers can easily relate to the show.
They will face all the challenges and judge who will be the sole survivor. P3-million cash prize awaits to the first Pinoy Sole Survivor.
